If you are wondering if an Eye Gaze communications device might help you speak or use a computer but you don't know where to start or you had a bad experience in the past, let me help you out.

You can buy a great eye tracker off of Amazon for $150, the Tobii 4C.  Internally, this is the same device that is used in the Tobii PC Eye Mini or Tobii i-12+, just without the communications software.  And in fall 2017, Microsoft added eye tracking support to Windows with basic speech and windows control technology which works with this eye tracker and many others.

So, if you want to give it a shot, with two days, $150, and a Windows PC you can give eye tracking a try.  Even if you've had a bad experience in the past, I'd suggest you give it another try – eye tracking cameras have improved significantly in just the last two years!
